Uganda has announced that 400 patients needing cancer treatment will be sent to Kenya after the only machine in the country serving impaired patients.
These patients are among a total of 17,000 patients who need care brachytherapy.
The country's health minister, Dr Chris Baryomunsi told the country's parliament on Thursday that a private hospital in Nairobi's Aga Khan dedicated support from Uganda 400 patients in need of treatment.
Personal newspaper Daily Monitor, quoting government officials, says that in Uganda there are 32,000 cases of cancer.
