Is it happening? Is it finally happening?
Reports emanating from the Italian media will have you believe it is. Jose Mourinho is said to be "a matter of hours away" from finally taking the managerial reigns at Manchester United, and in the process bringing to an end one of the biggest will he/won't he stories in years.

Current United boss Louis van Gaal has guided the team to the FA Cup final but after the midweek Premier League defeat at West Ham, the club have now found that their hopes of securing top four status is out of their hands. Manchester City earning a point at Swansea on the final day of the season will condemn United to fifth place in the table at best.
And it appears that United have finally made the decision to make the change, with Sky Sports Italy reporting that Mourinho is set to sign a contract to take over at Old Trafford imminently.
Mourinho was quizzed about the United speculation earlier this week, but has stated in the recent past that he would return to football management this summer regardless of where he goes, following his sacking by Chelsea in December.

He said: "Of course I miss it. But in July I will be back. So we are in May and May to July is nothing. I keep enjoying my life which I'm doing, keep enjoying my family.
"But in July I am back. June 30 (to sign a contract) - that's fine."
Van Gaal stressed recently that he believed that he would see out the remainder of his contract - which lasts until the end of next season - at United, though that hasn't stopped speculation persisting over Mourinho's move to Manchester.
Obviously, nothing is still confirmed yet, but something concrete may just be around the corner.
